The Slough Jets reached the top of the NIHL South 2 standings last weekend, as they took a 7-3 home win over the Basingstoke Buffalo to move two points clear of previous leaders Chelmsford. This weekend, the Jets look to hold on to that top spot as they travel to Haringey for the first of five away games in a row, while both Chelmsford and Oxford look to keep touch with the Jets as they both face Bracknell, on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Last weekend could prove to be a pivotal one in the NIHL South 2 title race. While leaders Chelmsford lost in Invicta, their closest three challengers - Slough, Solent and Oxford - all won on the road, to close the gap at the top.
